Matt Goldie hands over the reigns to new manager Neil Castle. 

August 2007

The first pre-season friendly is against div 3 team LOR. 25 players make themselves available but a Steve Baker goal is not enough as Loco go down 3-1.

Second friendly is a hastily arranged game against local rivals Immingham Striders. Due to the late notice only 12 could make it. Loco lose out 3-2, keith Castle and Richard Stothard grabbing the goals. 

The last friendly is against div 6 team Tap n Spile. A good performance is not enough as Loco go down 3-0. 

Neil Castle signs 18 players for the season ahead.

Loco 4 - GB Terminals 2. Goals from R.Lister 2, Steve Baker and Adi Dent take the points.

Matt Goldie, Jamie Goldie, John Morton and Nick Lord are added to the squad.

Loco 2 - Cromwell 2nds 4. A hard fought game goes Cromwell`s way, goals from Phil Patton and Richard Stothard not enough. An injury to keeper John Hill makes him miss the next 4 games.

September 2007

E.C.G.S 5 - Loco 0. An injury to Richard Stothard in the warm up starts a bad day for Loco. With only one sub the fitness shows.

GY Warriors 8 - Loco 2. With only 11 turning up Loco take a battering. Adi Dent grabs a brace.

Grange Crowland 5 - Loco 0. Another poor turnout as the 11 struggle. Jim Stolworthy has a nasty injury and decides to call it a day.

Junior Cup - Seven Seas 2nds 6 - Loco 1. A john Morton strike takes Loco into a half time lead. Seas have a very strong 2nd half and win comfortably in the end.

Neil signs Colin Clarke and Paul Eames signs from the Bluestone.

Cromwell 2nds 7 - Loco 1. Loco lead with an hour gone thanks to a John Lister 1st half goal, then collapse to throw away the points. John Hill returns.

October 2007

Mark Howlett, Mick Bellis, Tim Walker and Steve Smith sign.

Loco 2 - GY Warriors 0. An excellent performance gives Loco a deserved win Richard Lister and Mark Howlett grab the goals.

Inkworks 4 - Loco 1. Again only 11 turn up and though Loco went into half time 1 up thanks to a Paul Eames header, the second half was always going to be difficult. A disputed penalty allows inkworks back in who take all 3 points in the end.

Loco 3 - Clark Construction 6. A good game goes against Loco. Mick Bellis 2 and Richard Lister get the goals while Matt Goldie makes his debut in goal. Gordon Mckay takes a bad knock and calls it a day.

Memorial Cup - F.Rodgers Raiders 6 - Loco 2. Early exit out of cup as goals from Richard Lister and Tim Walker are not enough.

November 2007

Loco 1 - Abitas 0. A John Morton goal gives Loco a much needed win.

Andy Brown and Dave Brown sign from the Bluestone. Richard Peacock and George Bennett also sign.

GB Terminal 3 - Loco 5. Mark Howlett grabs a hat-tick to help Loco take the points.

Waltham RBL 2 - Loco 4. The good run continues as Mark Howlett 2, Paul Eames and Steve Baker get the goals.

E.C.G.S. 0 - Loco 5. A perfect November as Loco hammer E.C.G.S. Mick Bellis scores 2 while Neil Wood, Paul Eames and Richard Peacock grab one each.

December 2007

John Morton leaves to help manage Lss Westlands with all the lads wishing him the best.

Loco 2 - Grange Crowland 2. Loco up to 5th as Mick Bellis and Richard Lister get the goals.

Ben Taylor signs from the Bluestone 

Loco 6 - Smugglers 1. A very comfortable win for Loco. Keith Castle gets his first goal of the season, Neil Wood bags a free kick and Richard Lister scores before Smugglers pull one back. John Lister stretches the lead before Paul Eames scores a great solo goal. Andy Brown ends the game with a neat finish.

January 2008

2008 kicks off with a 2 - 2 draw against Inkworks FC. Jamie Goldie and Richard peacock grab the goals.

Cas signs Darren Gamwell and Graham Fitzgerald. 

February 2008

Loco gain another point with a 3-3 draw against GRS Taverners, Ben Taylor, John Lister and Graham Fitzgerald scoring.

 

 

March 2008

An away victory for Loco, 3 points taken against Abitas, Jamie Goldie, Mark Howlett, Graham Fitzgerald and Jono Lister scoring.

A dramatic 2-1 win against Smugglers with goals from Richard Lister and a last gasp winner from Phil Patton takes unbeaten run to 9 games.
